Once upon a time,
\nFar away from Broadstairs,
\nEight children set off
\nOn a mountain with no stairs.<\/p>\n

While waiting for instructors
\nLounging in the common room,
\nCbeebies kept us entertained:
\nFairy Holly’s toy went BOOM!<\/p>\n

Our very first mountain we’d ever climbed,
\nThey call it Elidir Fawr
\nHelped us work as a team
\nBut now we need a shower<\/p>\n

We walked and walked, on and on,
\nWe trudged along for miles
\nTrekking between the mountain tops
\nUp and down the stiles<\/p>\n

Only stopping once or twice,
\nTrying to catch our breaths
\nStaying close to one another
\nOr falling to our deaths!<\/p>\n

Sheep, sheep, sheep galore!
\nOllie couldn’t hope for more.
\nWill found an enormous screw,
\nPicking it up he kept it too!
\nIt’s Christmas! Wait, no it’s not-
\nIt’s Jaan throwing snow (a lot!)
\nMollie’s hands began to swell
\nThe coldness really gave her hell.
\nPoor old Grace got a blister
\nSo big, she’d grown a little sister
\nSay a sentence, she found a song,
\nLola sang them all day long!
\nHarry was a positive force,
\nMaking us smile throughout, of course.
\nArchie Tait, so brave and bold
\nWent the wrong way (if truth be told)!<\/p>\n

A vertical slope we came across
\nAnd had to travel down
\nSliding on our bottoms
\nWe made it to the ground<\/p>\n

Everyone kept falling
\nThough sticking to the path.
\nWhen Will slid down on his stomach
\nWe certainly didn’t laugh \ud83d\ude09 .<\/p>\n

Towards the end of our adventure
\nWe came upon some piping
\nFalling on our hands and knees,
\nWe found it quite exciting.<\/p>\n

Throbbing feet, the final stretch
\nOur soles were very sore
\nWe took off the heavy walking boots
\nAnd walked a little more<\/p>\n

We finally found the minibus
\nMuch to our relief.
\nWe jumped inside and got a ride
\nBack to KMC!<\/p>\n
