Rock Climbing - Southern Sandstone

Bowles Rocks

Scott Simmonds

We really do have a shortage of natural cliffs for rock climbing here in the South East.
The chalk sea cliffs are very impressive but also very soft and liable to collapse! Our one little gem is Harrisons Rocks (along with its smaller but equally good neighbours). Harrisons provides us with a great training ground and makes an excellent 'stepping stone' to the bigger cliffs further north.
