It won’t be long before those going to KMC start to wonder about who will be sharing their dormitory.
I’m surprised no one has asked yet; normally by this time several people have enquired.
Well here’s the answer – sort of:
At the start of break on Monday 17 October there will be a meeting of all participants in C3.
There you will be able to get into a domitory group of your choice, but…
The number of dormitories available is fixed and they vary in size from two to seven occupants and I’m not going to tell you how many there are of each size until you get to the meeting. If you miss the meeting for any reason, I will decide your dormitory. No changes will be allowed after the meeting.
i thought the double rooms were all taken for teachers?, are there two buildings? is there a room of 4? Thanks
There are rooms of 2, 4, 6 and 7 but I won’t know until next week how many of each are available and whether they will be used by boys or girls.
for the meeting, is it first come first served in terms of rooms?
In a way. You could arrive at the meeting after others have already started getting into groups and find only a few spaces left. In that case you would have to quickly negotiate or fit into the remaining vacancies.
We have a group of 6 already organised, how many rooms of 6 are availiable?
and is it possible to reserve a room?
All dormitory spaces are first come first served starting at break time on Wednesday.
